What is I-Stem?
Developed in partnership with top universities and industry partners across the province, Elsie MacGill's I-STEM program invites students from all over Ontario to take part in a program that elevates critical thinking, creative problem solving, collaboration skills, presentation skills and technical abilities. In the program, students will contribute and thrive in a technologically intensive environment through project-based learning. The aim of the program is to develop meaningful and transferable skills for students at a secondary level to succeed in any post-secondary path of their choice, equipped with a curriculum that positions them to be future leaders of exploring and discovering new solutions to the world’s most pressing issues.
